This seal is backed by FENEVAL, which has launched its ‘COVID-19 Protected Area program in cooperation with TÜV SÜD, the leading international company specialized in inspection, certification, and consulting services.
This seal is based on the tourism transportation protocol included in the ‘Guides for the reduction of contagion by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2’ published by the Secretary of State for Tourism in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and with the support of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE).
This seal is the result of the measures that we have implemented in Wiber Rent a Car since the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis. This seal not only requires a commitment to comply with the protocols on our part, but we have had to train, assess, and introduce the appropriate guidelines to be audited by TÜV SÜD.
Reinforcing disinfection protocols of our cars, shuttles, and counters between each rental, maintaining a safe social distance in our offices, and delivering sanitized keys are just a small part of the security measures we have taken.
Hygiene: Proper hand hygiene is considered one of the most effective measures to prevent COVID-19 infection. We urge employees and recommend customers to wash their hands with soap and water frequently. There is also hand sanitizer in work areas for regular use.
Prevention: Our staff is undergoing COVID-19 diagnostic tests. In addition to this, they undergo body temperature checks every day. All of our staff wear protective gear such as gloves and masks.
Training: All our employees have received specific training in hygiene and safety against COVID-19.
Information: Posters with important information about COVID-19 and its prevention have been placed at the office entrances and in prominent places.
Staff Areas: We have implemented the same hygiene and safety measures in worksites, as well as social distancing regulations.
